CATALYST TP 32-18 A
Definition:
It is a type of catalyst named blocked sulfonic acid. It could catalyze the reaction between the crosslinker called tetramethoxymethyl glycoluril (TMMGU) and polyester resin to provide a smooth surface. Through disturbing its pre-curing rheology and the crosslinking reaction between them, a smooth surface can form. Generally, it can be used in indoor decoration and outdoor metal furniture, grill, tool cabinet, acoustic and audio equipment, file cabinet and any items which need highly durable surface.

Application:
CATALYST TP 32-18 A is a catalyst in powder form designed to provide wrinkle finishes when used in
polyester resin based powder coating formulations in combination with a monomeric
tetramethoxymethyl glycoluril cross-linker. CATALYST TP 32-18 A affects the pre-cure rheology and
the cross-linking reaction of the cross-linker to form "wrinkle" textures.
Method of use and recommended levels:
CATALYST TP 32-18 A is supplied as free-flowing powder with uniformly-sizedparticles. Therefore is
very easy to incorporate it in the mixture of powders at the time of pre-homogenization.
Addition amount - minimum dosage level is 1,5 % on binder and cross-linker.
Storage conditions:
CATALYST TP 32-18 A should be stored in a cool dry place. In original unopened container it will keep 1
year stability. CATALYST TP 32-18 A is adversely affected by moisture. It must be kept dry.
