Matting agent for TGIC powder coatings
Description:
TP3209 is a low wax containing- matting agent used mainly in PES/TGIC exterior durable powder coating to provide low gloss of 15%. It features excellent color stability and flow,especially, application in black or dark shades of powders.

Application:
TP3209 is recommended as matting agent, in conjunction with the proper polyester resins,to use in exterior durable TGIC based powder coatings to provide less than 15% of low loss.

Polyester resins recommended :
Uralac 5200, 5201 from DSM
ii) Crylcoat 2441-2 form Cytec.
Iii) Queli® P9336TG from Hangzhou Sino-French.
Use levels:
3- 5% by weight based on total formulation, depending the gloss required.the following is reference formulation:

Carbon black: 3
Matt baso4: 160
Matting agent TP3209 :20-30
Curing schedules:
190ºC/20 min. or 200/15min.
Processing:
Mixed together with all of other components in a high-speed mixer, and afterwards extruded
in a Kneader.
Handing & Precaution:
Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Avoid breathing dust. Wash after handling.

Regulatory status:
TP3209 complies with TSCA (USA), DSL/NDSL (Canada) and IECSC(China).
Storage :
Store in temperature between 2 and 30ºC or cool dry place to avoid caking. Keep package
closed after using. Keep away from fire.
Based on our experience the shelf life of this product is at least 3 years.

Packaging with PE lined Kraft paper bag. Net weight 25Kg per bag.
